The brief for this project was to create an identity for the Singapore Design Festival 2012 — an identity that brings out the liveliness, and clearly portrays the purpose of the event. The theme for the event was “Think. Live. Breathe. Design.”

The dynamism of the logo represents the diversity and versatility of the design scene in Singapore, emerging from one heart and expanding outwards towards their own aspirations. The angularity resembles that of an arrow and signifies that local designers are constantly moving forward and improving themselves. The red remains iconic as Singapore’s colour and makes the logo easily recognisable.
